Skiing at Yangji

The weather has been pretty warm lately and most of the snow has melted. However, we really wanted to go skiing at least once this year. So we took advantage of the long weekend (President's Day) and drove about an hour North of Osan and found a ski area that used snow making equipment. The runs were a little icy in the morning and a little slushy in the afternoon (the temp hit 50 degrees). Overall it was a great day skiing. This was Lauren's first time skiing. She spent a little under an hour on the bunny-slope and then she went right to the ski lift and enjoyed the internmediate runs for the rest of the day.
This was Austin's 3rd time skiing. While we were on the chairlift we realized that Austin has skied 3 times, and each time on a different continent. The first time in Austria, the second in Colorado and now South Korea.

Brooke's Big B-Day

The Kids made a cake for Brooke's birthday.

The World's Largest Indoor Amusement Park

We took a couple days over the holiday break and went to Seoul. We tried to visit a museum, but it was closed (Austin and Lauren were so disappointed). Since the museum was closed, we went to Lotte World. I think it is the largest indoor amusement park in the world. It has several rollercoasters, a monorail and a huge ice rink in the middle.

A Little Christmas Cheer

There was a last minute replacement for Rudolph! Christmas morning is Christmas morning no matter where you happen to live.

We had a little too much turkey.
