Weekend in Seoul

We spent the weekend in Seoul and had a great time. We stayed at the
armed forces resort at Yongson garrison. It is a really nice hotel called the Dragon Hill Inn. We spent the days visiting historic landmarks and some shopping areas. Austin is standing next to a vendor's table where they sell all sorts of sweets. Every block or so there is a vendor that has a giant slab of, what looks like maple candy with nuts. They shave it into thin sheets and sell it. We didn't try any but quite a few people were buying it. Lauren looked at the sweets as well, but opted for a different kind of snack. Brooke also found her favorite treat - Starbucks (in Korean). We also went to some beautiful temples. Austin and Lauren also had their pictures taken with the animal that represents the year they were born (no, not the weasel) Austin was the year of the monkey and Lauren the year of the dog.
